Dress code is not necessary. It is telling people what they can and can’t wear. Girls can’t show their shoulders and boys just can’t go to school with no shirt on. Girls shoulders are not distracting. Boys have it way easier than girls on dress code. It should be gone or apply to everyone. We should be able to wear what we want, not what the school wants. It’s just clothes, it’s not a big deal. Clothes are what was put on our body and some people love style and are popular for it.

The storm made its way to Ontario and a little of Quebec and some flooding, and making some people isolate in some areas. Hurricane Katrina is a well-known hurricane. The main place it hit was New Orleans. One third of the people didn’t have cars so they couldn’t get out in time. This hurricane was really bad, especially the wind and destruction. 

 

This storm was so bad, it’s crazy. Three hours in the hurricane it was category three. It was one of the deadliest hurricanes. The winds were 145 miles an hour. 1836 people were found dead after the storm. It affected 90 000 square area. The storm lasted 3 months. It extended 120 miles from the eye of the storm. The storm got to category 5 in three days. There was no drinkable water because it was all toxic. People were stranded on roofs and highways because of how toxic the water was. 

 

The floods were also really bad. They were under 10 feet of water. Their flood protection failed so they couldn’t stop the water. While the storm was happening there were 30 feet tall waves hitting land. The flood became very toxic after the hurricane. The city was underwater for weeks. 

 

The repairing of the hurricane and the flood was awful. To fix the buildings it cost 81.2 billion dollars. Over three quarters of the city was destroyed. It cost 150 for the cleanup and the aid people needed to live. Total cost was 230 billion dollars. The city took years to finish repairing. 

 

The path of the hurricane is formed over the Bahamas, then made its way to Florida and then Mississippi at category 5 it hit New Orleans. In2021 it was the fifth intense that hit the U.S. When it went over Florida it was category one. In Mississippi it was category 3. 

 

 

As you see this storm caused a lot of destruction in cities and possibly towns. Hurricane Katrina was tragic. They had another hurricane a few weeks after Katrina. It was way stronger too. I found this hurricane very interesting.

When I’m older I want to be a sheet metal worker with my dad because the job sounds interesting and I’m good at math and you need to be good at math to do those things. I also just want to learn with my dad, and he can help me with my tests for my first years there. There is good pay my dad said 500 dollars a week for first premise’s he said that will be more than all my friends.

Hello, today I’m talking about my family. I’m going to go from youngest to oldest. Blaire, she is cute but is a DEVIL, she likes to sit Infront of her iPad and the tv at the same time. When she wakes up, she needs a yogurt and another yogurt after that one with the tv and her iPad with breakfast. Madison, she is so annoying she just follows me. She is sometimes a DEVIL but more than Blaire. Madison likes to make me mad a lot! My dad, he is so annoying, way more than Madison. He startles me sometimes, he sometimes play fights and sometimes give me a surprise punch. At Christmas he sometimes shoot the nerf guns  and scares them because he doesn’t want the the cats to touchthe Christmas tree, it’s so funny to watch.Steph, she does many things around the house cooking, laundry, dishes and most of the chores she organizes things like holidays and how it’s going to work and Christmas photos. She is most likely the most organized person I know and the most active in the house. 

This weekend is Halloween, and I’m going as a nerd, I really like my stepmom for stuff like this because she is creative. Last year I was a stickman, I used glow sticks and I wore a black suit. This year I don’t know what the plan is for me. I know my sister is going with her friends with my stepmom, I might go to my grandma’s. She has a hall of candy and chocolate bars, and maybe I can steal some. We have a fun house that we go to, and she does a play its different every time, she is my favorite. She bought a pirate ship this year I think I know what it is. If I do go trick or treating, I want to go with one or two friends. That is what I might do this Halloween weekend

Friday night I’m going to my moms to see her and my other siblings. On Saturday I’m not sure what I’m going to do. On Sunday its thanksgiving and I think some of my family is coming to have some really filling food like turkey, mashed potatoes and more food. My dad let me stay for an extra day because it was Thanksgiving holiday. I go back to my dad’s on Monday and do nothing. The next day is school, nothing is fun in school except what I’m doing right now. 

I am scared of presenting I don’t know why I feel like someone is going to laugh at me. It’s so scary presenting when I have to present, I get a heavy feeling in my chest, and I feel like I’m going to cry and can’t talk. I stutter and my face gets red, and I start to cry. I still have a hard time doing it in front of my teacher. Speeches are another story. I’ve only been able to present about one time in fourth grade it was terrifying.
